Bebout and Associates is a collaborative of energy professionals who come together on an ad hoc basis to work on renewable and alternative energy projects.
Dr. John W. Bebout (right) is the founder and principal consultant for Bebout and Associates. His current projects include both conventional and unconventional energy resources. In addition, for the past several years he has been developing an algae-to-biofuels process which utilizes uncovered, outdoor ponds. Working with university and industry partners, Dr. Bebout has designed and constructed algae ponds in Nevada and is currently exploring other geographic areas in the United States and around the world for similar projects. He is working with numerous collaborators to develop low-energy methodologies for the downstream harvesting and processing of algae for their lipid and starch content.

Dr. Bebout and his associates have extensive experience in project design and management, including economic modeling, grant procurement, technology assessment and benefit studies, R&D planning, performance benchmarking and supply forecasting.
